The future of Internet radio is in immediate danger. Royalty rates for webcasters have been drastically increased by a recent ruling and are due to go into effect on July 15 (retroactive to Jan 1, 2006!). If the increased rates remain unchanged, the majority of webcasters will go bankrupt and silent on this date. The station name is linked to the stations web site. The icon after the speaker symbol designates the type of media stream and the bandwidth if available. We have elected not to embed the various players available in an effort to keep media pages as simple and user-friendly as possible. This will also ensure that you can continue to listen to programming independent from navigating away from this page. We were hoping to update the station list from time to time as new free content becomes available but this seems to be doubtful at this time.
