Welcome to the month of May where we go back to days
when there were Juke Joints on most every corner and Live Music in the
air. Cities weren't tearing down everything in the name of progress and modernization.
There aren't many places like those left and the few that still are....
word is that most of those will soon be gone too. It's a cryin' shame, I
tell ya.
Charlie Roberson, who also performed under the name
Charlie Robinson, talks about some of those days and the Joints back
in the day.
"Bronze Radio Return" is a group of youngsters
keeping the Blues alive and there is a review of a recent Eric Culberson
show in Georgia.
Show yo' Mama some love and have a safe and happy
Memorial Day weekend. Support the troops and Live Blues!
