Guitars
2004 Fender Stratocaster, Fender Custom Shop, red flake sparkle paint.
It is my main guitar in standard tuning.
GHS Burnished Nickel strings, medium gauge.
.11 .14 .18 .28 .42 .50
1975 Fender Stratocaster
Affectionately named "Stinky". Schecter neck and a cheapo Japanese humbucking
pickup. My primary slide guitar.
Tuned to open D (d a d f# a d). It is my sentimental favorite.
1974 Fender Telecaster Thinline.
I use it exclusively for slide guitar, and generally in open g (d g d g b d) tuning,
capoed to suit the key. It has a deep, dark tone and I've used it in the studio on
"Prayin' for Rain", "Restless Soul", and others.
2002 Gibson Gold Top Les Paul Standard.
My main box with George Thorogood and the Destroyers, I am using it a lot lately with
Monkey Beat. I plan to use it a lot on our upcoming CD. Fat, phat tones!
2001 Gibson SJ-200 acoustic
I used it extensively on the "Dirt Road" CD. I've added a Sunrise pickup.
1931 National Duolian Steel Bodied Resonator
I added a Barcus Berry pickup.
2005 Chandler Lectra-Slide guitar.
I first saw Joe Bonamassa playing one, and I loved it! It has lap steel pickups, and a
five way pickup selector for a wide variety of tones...and it looks cool! I tune it to
open E (e b e e g# b e), and play it on our new tune "Devil in Me".
Amps
2005 Roccaforte Custom 40 amp, with 2x12" speaker cabinet.
1993 Fender Vibro-King amp (serial number 287), 3x10" EV speakers.
I run them off an a/b box, generally leaning more on the Fender and coloring the sound
with the Roccaforte.
In small venues, I'll sometimes run a Fender Vibrolux (2x10") in conjunction with a
Fender Pro Junior (1x10")

Boss 7 band EQ,
Boss Vibrato pedal
Boss Flanger
